CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

GOYAD Travel understands that travel plans may change. This policy explains the general approach to cancellations, amendments and refunds for services arranged through GOYAD Travel.

1. General Policy

Cancellation and refund eligibility depends on the service booked and the applicable terms of the airline, hotel, tour operator, transport provider, railway service, educational institution, visa authority or other supplier.

The specific cancellation conditions applicable to a booking will be communicated or made available to the customer where applicable before confirmation.

2. Customer Cancellation

If a customer wishes to cancel a booking, they should contact GOYAD Travel as soon as possible.

Cancellation requests should preferably be made in writing through email, WhatsApp or another recognised communication channel.

The applicable cancellation charges will depend on:

Type of service
Date of cancellation
Travel date
Supplier policy
Booking conditions
Amount already paid
Government or third-party charges

3. Flight Bookings

Flight cancellations and refunds are subject to the applicable airline and fare rules.

Depending on the fare conditions, cancellation may result in:

Airline cancellation charges
Fare difference
Service or processing charges
Non-refundable taxes or fees where applicable
Other applicable charges

Any refund received from the airline or booking supplier will be processed according to the applicable rules.

4. Hotel Bookings

Hotel cancellation policies vary by property, rate type and booking conditions.

Some hotel bookings may be:

Fully refundable
Partially refundable
Refundable until a specified date
Non-refundable

The applicable conditions will depend on the confirmed booking.

5. Tour Packages

Cancellation terms for tours depend on the specific package, supplier commitments, accommodation, transportation and other services included.

Any applicable cancellation charges will be communicated as part of the booking terms.

Where a supplier does not provide a refund for a particular component, GOYAD Travel may be unable to refund that amount.

6. Cab Services

Cab cancellation and refund conditions depend on the booking type, timing of cancellation and applicable service terms.

Charges may apply for cancellations made after a vehicle or driver has been allocated or where the service provider has incurred costs.

7. Train Reservations

Train reservations are subject to the applicable railway rules, ticket conditions and cancellation procedures.

Any refund will be subject to the applicable railway rules and deductions.

8. Visa Application Fees

Government visa fees, embassy fees, appointment charges and other official fees are generally subject to the rules of the relevant authority and may be non-refundable.

A visa refusal does not automatically create an entitlement to a refund of government or third-party fees.

9. Visa Service Fees

GOYAD Travel’s own service or assistance charges will be subject to the terms communicated to the customer before the service is confirmed.

Where work has already been performed, certain service charges may be non-refundable if this was clearly communicated and agreed before the service began.

10. Study Abroad Services

Study abroad service charges and refunds depend on the specific service purchased and the terms communicated before engagement.

University application fees, examination fees, courier charges, government fees and other third-party charges are subject to the relevant provider’s rules.

University admission or visa refusal does not automatically mean that third-party fees are refundable.

11. Refund Processing

Where a refund is applicable, the refund process may begin after GOYAD Travel receives or confirms the corresponding refund from the relevant service provider.

Refund timelines may therefore depend on the airline, hotel, tour operator, transport provider, payment provider or other third party.

Refunds will normally be made using the applicable payment method or another appropriate method agreed with the customer, subject to applicable rules.

12. Non-Refundable Charges

Certain amounts may be non-refundable where clearly communicated and applicable, including:

Government fees
Visa fees
Certain airline fares
Certain hotel rates
Supplier cancellation charges
Processing charges
Service charges
Payment gateway charges where applicable
Other third-party fees

13. Changes and Rescheduling

If a customer wants to change travel dates, passenger details, itinerary or another booking component, additional charges may apply.

Changes are subject to availability and the applicable supplier’s rules.

14. Supplier Cancellations

If an airline, hotel, tour operator, transport provider or other supplier cancels or changes a service, GOYAD Travel will assist the customer in understanding the available options and, where applicable, coordinate with the supplier regarding refunds or alternatives.

The final refund or alternative arrangement may depend on the supplier’s policy.

15. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for reviewing booking confirmations and cancellation conditions.

Customers should contact GOYAD Travel promptly if they identify an error or need to cancel or amend a booking.

16. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or restrict any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted under applicable Indian law.

GOYAD Travel aims to handle genuine customer concerns fairly and transparently. Indian consumer-protection law provides mechanisms for addressing genuine service-related grievances.

GOYAD Travel may update this Cancellation & Refund Policy from time to time.
